The healing beauty of Cranio-Sacral Therapy

January 29, 2019

Snjezana is our new in house therapist and we are over the moon with her amazing healing hands. Thanks to her amazing experience working as a therapist and in rehabilitation, we have introduced four new treatments to Samsara: Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Maderotherapy, Yumeiho and  Myofascial Release.

In the text below, you will find more information about the Cranio-Sacral Therapy and a short interview with Snjezana.

Here are a few lines about the treatment:

Cranio-Sacral Therapy is an exceptionally gentle yet extremely powerful form of treatment, which engages with the deepest inherent healing forces within the body. We absorb stress every day, but we can only handle so much tension before the tissues begin to tighten. This can affect the brain, spinal cord and central nervous system. Cranio-Sacral Therapy releases these tensions to allow the entire body to relax and self-correct.

Short interview with Snjezana:

How long have you practised for?

The first time I gave Cranio-Sacral Therapy was in 2010 in a private Physical  Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic in Serbia.

I had already learnt about the restriction about the connective tissues and practised Myofascial release for 3 years. The next level for me was to then work on Cranio Spine and Sacrum Bone.

Where did you work before coming to Samsara?

I worked in a Private Clinic for Rehabilitation and Functional Disorders within the body (orthopaedic, neurology, psychosomatic). Combining a traditional and holistic approach I worked there for 10 years before moving to London last November last November 2018.

What are the benefits?

Cranio-Sacral Therapy regulates homoeostasis, improves better sleep, facilitates deeper breathing, regenerates, reduces stress and headaches.
