Calling all super mummies!

This month is marked with a day of celebration of mummies, mums, moms and mamas across the land on March 14th. It is a day to say thank you to possibly one of the most important roles of all time and a day to appreciate everything that every mum does.

To all the new mummies out there: we know that motherhood can often be exhausting, stressful and unglamorous. Many mums suffer with depression, low mood or anxiety and although this can sometimes be hormonal, it can also be a result of simple tiredness. The multi-tasking juggling act that the modern 'super' mum often takes on, can eventually leave her depleted and out of touch with her own wants and needs.

And that’s where we come in! Taking regular exercise has been proven to reduce stress and yoga is one of the most peaceful activities on the planet to re-ignite the connection to the inner self. Breathing deeply during a class can rebalance the system which is exactly what is needed after a day of dealing with toddler tantrums and learning the primal practice of ‘Lion’s breath’ can release all the frustrations from the supermarket trip earlier in the day.

Being a mum is one of the most amazing things a woman can do. But don’t forget - We’ve got your back whenever you need a little break!

If you are new to yoga we have regular beginners courses available and to those already familiar with Yoga we suggest a gentle flowing class to relax and unwind the body.

Mindful Flow with Kim Peacock - Saturdays 12 - 1.15pm

Freedom Flow with Adrianna Zaccardi - Sundays 12 - 1.15pm
